News of the Week: Training of the Unit for Special Operations (USO)  –  Силы Специальных Операций (ССО)

The objectives of this unit are open or hidden combat and sabotage operations behind the front lines against economic, political or military objects on the territory of neighboring states. For this purpose they dispose of airborne transport, skydiver and as well as combat training using advanced technical equipment. After completing their operations they can be brought back to home base in Russia by helicopters.
